Wrap yourself up in a cozy room to think about your child and write about your memories. Writing prompts will be offered for reflection about your loss. You will be supported and encouraged to write and share as much or as little as you wish of your grief experience.

Bereavement

Custom Workshops


One hour to one day, a workshop can be designed to address traumatic bereavement, including pregnancy and infant loss, child death, suicide, sudden death and violent death. Based on an interview and your specifications, evidence based content about traumatic bereavement will be included in a customized workshop. Topics include: How to Help When the Baby Dies, The Importance of Creating Memories After Infant and Child Death.

Support for Survivors of Suicide Loss

This 6 session closed group offers information and support for those whose loved one has died by suicide, as they navigate the changes in their life following this traumatic loss. Participants must be 18 years of age or older, the suicide loss of a loved one must have occurred within the past two years and they must be available to attend all 6 sessions. Space limited to 8 participants in each group.

Write it Out!

Creative Writing Workshops


At this half day workshop you will be invited to explore your feelings through creative writing exercises. In a safe, positive small group environment, participants will be offered prompts and guidance as they write about and reflect on life experiences.

Participants will be interviewed and each workshop will have a theme such as pregnancy and infant loss, parenting, divorce, caregiving, and so on. Theme suggestions are welcome.
